About Bali Ram Bhagat College

Bali Ram Bhgat College is a Constituent Unit of Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Kameshwar Nagar, Darbhanga established in 1969 imparting education till PG level in Arts, Science and Commerce and registered under section 2(f) and 12 (B) of UGC Act.,1956.A multifaculty coed institution, the College, till date maintains a distinguish place in the University. Situated on the South-West end of Samastipur on the main road leading to Patna, the college has a very refined walled campus comprising of about 6 acres of land. Based on the outskirts of Samastpur town, the college enjoys the natural open environment coupled with the Urban facility. Its strategic location attracts students from both the Urban and Rural surroundings. The college have more than thirteen thousand students on roll and is well equipped with modern library and laboratories. Packed with highly qualified and dedicated teachers, the College ensures holistic development of its learners through quality education, extension activities, sports and cultural activities. A beautiful pond in the middle of the college campus adds to its attraction. The college has its own shopping complex. It has a beautiful and lush green park in its campus. The aim of the college is to educate and uplift the backward and down-trodden and to instil a feeling of security among them. The College fulfils the dream of higher education of students from rural areas and weaker sections of society. Moreover, College has started PG courses in five subjects viz. Chemistry, Zoology, Psychology, Geography and Commerce from the session 2021-22. Presently the college has become the first choice of students in the University.
